I have provided video production services to a number of different departments at Public Health Sudbury & Districts including: the Health Equity department in the Knowledge and Strategic Services division, as well as the Family Health Team in the Health Promotion division.
One particular project that I found meaningful was a campaign I developed to promote Circles, a program designed to help individuals and families living in poverty. The goal of the campaign was to increase enrolment in the program and to educate public policy makers and the community about how social factors have an influence on a person’s health.
The strategy focused on a video series that told the stories of three individuals living in poverty in Sudbury. The emotional and personal approach to this campaign led to the campaign’s success, as measured by social media engagement metrics and real world sign-ups for the program.
